Speaking of new things, we’ve said goodbye to the theme “Mark This Place,” in which we explored God’s love through the elements of earth, water, fire and wind and are welcoming our new four-year theme “Stories of Greatness”.

In 2017, we’ll explore “Stories of Great Courage” through all the fun and fellowship of camp (vespers, campfires, arts & crafts, nature activities, waterfront fun and so much more!) and discover biblical texts about courageous people like Moses and Esther, as well as learning about Rosa Parks, Malala Yousafzai and others who remind us that God’s story continues to unfold in our world.

We encourage all campers to discuss this concept with family and friends while gearing up for their stay. What are the stories that have touched your heart? Stories that had you considering the boundaries of bravery?
