You are not alone! Come and
share a weekend with other women (18 years and older) who have
experienced rape and sexual abuse (including marital/ partner rape, date
rape, and stranger rape).
Building on the 2008 “Steps
on the Journey” weekend, we will strengthen and grow our community of
survivors and support each other as we continue on our healing journeys.
We will discuss different ways that being a survivor affects us
including our relationships with friends, partners and children; our
work and faith lives; and how we manage triggers, flashbacks and other
after-effects of being a survivor.
This event will be
facilitated by women who have experienced this abuse. Clergy and
chaplain services will be available during the event.
This event is open to all
women whether or not you attended the 2008 “Steps on the Journey”
