Roots & Wings

At United Church Camps, Inc. (UCCI), we stand on the brink of tradition and transformation, ready to shape the future while honoring our past. Our mission is clear: to create spaces for belonging and growth through transformative outdoor experiences. Across Moon Beach, Daycholah Center, and Cedar Valley, we have touched countless lives by fostering deep spiritual connections and nurturing faith within our vibrant community. As we honor the long-standing faith and community-based legacy of our camps, we also recognize the urgency to evolve and expand our impact beyond the traditional church camp setting.

Roots Goal $200,000

For decades, UCCI has provided sanctuary to families, youth, and individuals seeking peace, reflection, and personal growth. Our programs have fostered deep spiritual connections, nurtured faith, and strengthened bonds within communities. These roots are the foundation of who we are—a place where faith, family, and fun come together in the ideal natural surroundings.

Reaching this goal will sustain the ministry that has brought so much joy and transformation to those who have walked our paths. This funding will allow us to maintain the camps, support essential programs, and ensure that the spaces you love continue to nurture all who come seeking connection.

However, staying true to our roots doesn’t mean standing still. It means recognizing the importance of what we’ve built and using that foundation to grow.

Wings Goal $325,000

We feel called to take flight in new directions, guided by our mission. UCCI is exploring new possibilities to bring our outdoor ministry to life in fresh ways. While our vision is still taking shape, we see potential in expanding youth and family programs, adding more flexible participation options, innovative faith formation, and ideas yet to be uncovered. We aim to create experiences that inspire reflection, spiritual growth, and connection—whether at our camps or throughout the wider community.

We are committed to making these new initiatives a reality through thoughtful investment of time, resources, and effort. By using feedback from recent surveys, focus groups, and consultations, we will guide our next steps and test these initiatives with pilot programs to ensure they meet the needs of our campers and communities.
