Lorin WilleyProfessional Artist and Instructor
“Lorin Willey, an internationally acclaimed artist and instructor, eagerly shares his expertise and passion to help you refine your skills in this timeless genre. As the first Wisconsin oil painter to receive the Award for Excellence in the National Arts for the Parks Exhibit in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, in 1991, Lorin has showcased his work across the United States, Ireland, England, Scotland, Belgium, France, and Australia, earning a place in prestigious collections.
Affiliated with renowned galleries such as Michael DeLind Gallery in Milwaukee, Edgewood Orchard Gallery in Door County, and Lorica Gallery in Andover, Lorin founded the Wisconsin Painters Studio in 1990. For over two decades, he has inspired both students and professional artists with his dynamic teaching and lecturing on the world of art. Lorin’s classes prioritize the individual artist’s development of creative and technical skills, guided by his unique “3-Cs” approach—rooted in Creativity, Craftsmanship, and Clarity of Intent.”
